    Surrogs. Surrogs usually grown on bad land. Any place they grow they destroy the crop for they eat the clay.

    Chicken weed. It grows on good land. It grows in potatoes ground. It used to be used for polticing stony bruses or hurts or strains. A fisfull of it is got and is put on an old iron on the fire and some buttermilk is put on it. Then you put it on a cloth and put to the soare.
    Bogbine. It is good for strengthening your blood. It grows on soft ground or bogs.
    Brackins. The always grow along (ditch)
