- One Sunday evening in May John Kelly, Joe McDaid and Willie McDaid, Lower Illies[?] were shooting marbles on the Illie[?]Road. When they had the marbles in the ring they looked behind them and saw two tiny little boys with white heads driving two sheep. The tiny boys walked on until they came to M Laughlin's of Kinnego.
There were devotions in the chapel at Cockhill and M Laughlin and his wife were at the devotions, the Duffy's from the Illies were at the devotions. The boys told the girl who was in M Laughlins to keep the sheep in the room till M Laughlin would come home and tell him to keep a close eye on them or he would lose them and if he did lose them to cross over two mountains and river and he would get them. When M Laughlin came home and let them the sheep he lost them. The two boys were at Kinnego crossroads when Duffy's cart came up the jumped(continues on next page)- Collector
