  1. There are some emblems and objects of value in this parish of Muff, Co. Donegal.
There is a woman living in this called Miss Ferguson, who has some objects of value in her house. She has a jug and a goblet made of lustre-wear. She says they are very valuable. She also has a small glass jug which was made in the time of Gladstone. It has Gladstone for the million written on it. She has a flint-glass wine canteen. She used to have old Paisley shawls but she does not know where they are now.
In this district at harvest time there is an emblem of harvest called the harvest plait. This is made and worn by the young men.
