In our district are many place names such as Ard an Dun, Ard More.
Gorta Muineagh. Gorta Gore Gort na Uarran.
Meadan Ban is sloping land; it is not rough but it is dry and sandy.
Crops are taken off it every year it is well laboured; and it runs up into the hill.
Gorta Muineagh and Gorta Gore are a flat mossy district. Peat and fir and bedding grow plentifully.
A road runs through this district so that the farmers can get their peats or anything that they want.
Ardmore is the name of a road and district which runs from Iskaheen hills to the shore.
