    the are cut in two.
    Each part must have at least two eyes so that if one eye get damaged the other has a chance to grow.
    People at times set whole potatoes of small uniform sizes.
    These make excellent seed.
    Another method is to place these in wooden boxes in the Month of December.
    The produce long buds.
    When planting time comes these budded potatoes are planted in the drills for seed.
    A week afterwards these buds come up through the dark soil.
    When the cuts are being laid the person who lays them carries them in an apron. The apron is fastened to the person's back with a cord. He walks along the drill placing the cuts on the scaled manure about one foot apart.
