There is a fairy story connected with churning.
One day when this man was cutting turf in the hill he thought he heard the sound of churning.
He knew he was too far away from the hill a piece to a big rock called Dickson's rock.
When he reached the rock the sound stopped.
He moved away from the rock and he heard the sound again.
He concluded that it was the fairies.- Collector
