    (26) If you speak in Gods name to a Ghost it must answer you (Story concerning it):- One time in Glentogher a man took away a fairy stone and he was knows as a great card player. One night as he was coming home he saw a white figure sitting on the stone he had preciously removed. It was playing cards and he joined in, He had his pockets full of money and soon he discovered that he lost it all - as the other player - the devil- was winning So he called out aloud "God your cheating me" whereupon the cards dissappeared and the both conversed until the dawn of the morning when the devil dissappeared.
    (27) A Ghost cannot stay after dawn - it must dissappear.
    (28) If you bless yourself - a Ghost will disappear.
    (29) If you see the devil you will know him by his cows feet.
    (30) t is unlucky to interfere with a fairy mound or fort.
    (31) It not right to scare anyone with a white sheet.
    (32) It is said that the fairies are out on Hallow eve night.
    (33) You cannot kill a witch with a bullet, but you can with a sixpence.
    (34) You can kill a trout if you chase it against the running water.
    (35) It is unlucky to turn back
    (36) It is unlucky to kill a cat - you must drowned her
    (37) you must drowned the first litter of pups every dog has - otherwise it is unlucky.
