   There was as much bread made at a time as did for a couple of days because they had not enough of wheat and corn ground to bake the amount that would do for a week.

   In olden times the people ate potatoes for their breakfast dinner and supper. When they got up in the morning they would have to go out and dig potatoes for their breakfast. While they were boiling they would dig as many as would do dinner time. The people say in the centre of the floor round a basket and ate their meal. They drank
