    The foregoing poems "Slieve Snaught" Cregnahorna Glen" "The Village on the Brae". "Hallow-Eve" and "Bonfire Night" are some of the works of Patrick Doherty aged 44 years
    He was born in Cregnahorna but emigrated to America in the year 1912. His father was Owney Doherty (now deceased) and mother was Lizzie Kearney still alive and aged 78 years.
