    by Burnes of Greencastle. It is made near the coast. During the famine the people had no roads like they have now. The people got paid four-pence per day. They were paid by the County Council when they were making the roads. There is a mass path from Inishowen head to Mr. Pat. Hernans. The people used stepping stones to cross the river. There is a heap of stones at Mr. Bouchers field it is supposed to be a monument to some dead persons.
