There are green fields in Anaugh, there are friends both kind and true
And though I be across the sea my thoughts will be with you.
And though I now must leave you and the friends so true and kind
The days I spent in Anaugh will be ever in my mind.

From the heath-clad hills of Anaugh I can see the Swilly's tide,
Break softly on the pebbly shore and many a rock beside,
The lovely bay of Binion and the headland of Dunaff,
The tower of Ballyhallin and the hills of far Guldaff
