Co DonegalOnce upon a time about thirty years ago in this parish there lived in Cloncha a man named McSheffery. He sold lime; one day he was away with a load of lime and it began to rain; it rained so heavy that it flooded the rivers. On his way home he had to cross a bridge. As he was going across the bridge the flood took him and the horse and cart down the river: he was drowned and the horse was saved.
