Now one of the Glen men was named Dick so you see their reason for breaking the watch. A song was made "on" the shipwreck afterwards.

I
Our ship being richly loaded
From Virginia we set sail
Kind heavens did protect us
With a sweet and pleasant gale
Until we came to Inishowen Head
A pilot we took in
To preserve our ship and cargo
Tobacco and strong gin.
