- Glenburn quarry is in a "gentle knoll". One day some men were quarrying stones there. The next day the returned to find the stones covered with blood.
- In Drung about 1 ½ miles inland from Malin Presbyterian Church, which is on the shore road, there was a small gentle bush. A woman sowed some onions. She pulled the "gentle" bush to cover the onions so that the hens would not scrape them out. The onions did not grow.
- Once upon a time an old woman lived in this district. She had magic power and could turn herself into a hare. She lived with her little grandson.
