Prayers
An old prayer said after the rosary, coming up to Christmas time is-
Sweet infant, Jesus, come,
into my heart,
Come and root out sin
Any plans thy virtues there.
When we hear of a death we say-
"May the Lord have mercy on his/her soul."
When we see an invalid or cripple we say "God bless the mark"
When a person is shown a baby or a new beast they say "God bless it." When a person enters a house they say "God bless all here." When we are in trouble we say "God's will be done."
If you are passing by people working you would say "God bless the work,: another prayer said after the rosary is
"Providence can, Providence did,
Providence will provide
O'mercy and all provident God
Here my prayers and grant my petition"Collected by P Murray
