There are many festivals during the year such as St Stephen's day, St Patrick's day, Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, good Friday, Easter- Saturday, Easter- Sunday, Easter- Monday, May-day, Whit - Sunday, Whit - Monday, Hallow-eve and Christmas day.
On St. Stephen's day some boys gather together and go from house to house singing a song called the wren. These are the words of the song;
The wren, the wren,
the king of all birds,
On St. Stephen's day
she was caught in the furze,
She dipped her wings in a
barrel of beer,
