- There are many old roads and lanes called names after some person that lived on the road or some event that happened around them. "The Back Road" leads to Killeek and starts from the cross of Lispopple. "The Gullets" is a continuation of the road that comes out of Rolestown. From "The Gullets" to Warblestown is called "Fitchies Road". From "The Gullets" to Driseog is called "Driseog(continues on next page)
- (continued from previous page)from Chapelmidway called "Cortown Lane". There is also another old lane branching off Cortown Lane called "Clarke's Lane so called because people named Clarkes live on that lane.
- The road that passes my house is called "The Glebe Road". There is a big house on that road and a Minister used live in it. There is also a lane near my house called "Surgalstown Lane". There is also a road called "The Gullets".
