- Toothache. Sore throat.Toothache An old man of ninty years of age told my father that his parents often told him that there is a wonderful cure for toothache in a frog. To effect the cure the frog should be taken up and the sign of the cross made with it on the effected jaw. The person must then tell the frog that he will never injure or hurt it or any of its kind. The result is that the person shall never have toothache and if ever his teeth get bad they will fall out painlessly.(continues on next page)
