- Where the present graveyard is now manny years ago there was a church where many people sheltered out of great storms. Many of them were killed in these storms. At the time of Cromwell he blew the Chapel down.
From Chastleknock there is a tunnel runing to Mulhuddard. At Chalkhill there is also a tunnel from which a Woolshark appears on the middle of the road at eleven o clock each night.
A couple of yards from the graveyard we have our Lady's Well to which many pilgrimages were held long ago and the people walked hundreds of(continues on next page)- Collector
