    Lord Holmpatrick also got his land at the time of Cromwell in the 1650.
    At first it was called Muttonhill, but it is now called Abbotstown. Lord Holmpatrick went to speak on the plains of Kildare, and when the people saw him, coming they said "here is Limpy Hamilton from Muttonhill, eight shillings a week and a half loaf is better than no bread." That was the poor man's pay.
