    Bird Lore
    four green eggs with brown spots. All the birds hatch the eggs for five days.
    Boys are warned not to scale birds nests. If the are discovered they are liable to a fine or imprisonment.
    When the swallow flies low it is a sign of rain. When the seagull is flying low over the land it is a sign of rain. When the swallow comes back early it is a sign of good weather.
    I heard this information from my father (Mr Dunne.) Age 54.
