    (continued from previous page)
    A Local Song.
Upon his pipes he fell a humming,
    Slowly onwards he did creep,
    For taking whisley oversomin'
Pat lay down and fell asleep.
He was not long without a comradr,
One that could give out the pay,
When a big Jack Ass soon smelt out Pat,
And lay beside his on the way.
It was not long in dawnin' morning,
Just then the Ass began to bray,
When Pat jumped up and opened his eyes,
Oh who served me in suck a way.
