- The Days of the Weeks
There are not many old sayings about the days of the week. People say it is unlucky (ch) to change to a new house on Friday. It is also unlucky to buy any sort of an animal on a Sunday.
It is said that if you paper your house on a Monday you will live to paper it again. The people also say if you plant a thing on Wednesday it will ripe on a Wednesday. When you dig on a Sunday your grave will be also dug on a Sunday. I got this information from my mother.Pádraig O Catáin
