The Bolstra is a man who was given land to share among the people when it was scarce. He was told to share it equally among them but he liked some people and hated others or he gave a good lot of land to the ones he liked and gave hardly any to the ones he did not like.
He lived in a house at Carraig Comairse in Bonnifinglass and died there.
