- A StoryOne day two men went out in a boat in Enniscrone, trying to reach the Bartley Island's. The boat was not used for a long time and it soon began to leak. When one of the men saw it getting filled he jumped out and said, "Every man for himself for himself". The name was Leonard. He tried to reach dry land but he failed. When he was about a league from dry land he went down and got drowned. The other man stayed in the boat until it turned over and threw him into the sea. He stuck to the boat and started shouting. Some man at the shore heard him and came and saved him.
