    From Sligo and Knockmaray,
But the beauty of the world's scenes were the Ballina boys that day.

May the Shamrock wave over Allen's grave that in Manchester lies,
And likewise Larken and O'Brien thats moulding in their clay,
The British crown we shall pull down
And all tyrants will make run,
It's by the rifle we'll revenge
When our gallant boys were hung.

The cold winds are blowing, the rain-bow spans over,
With thunder and lightning we are all full of fright,

My boots they are bad and my feet they are cold
When the winter is over and the Spring is set in.
