    There is a town called Ardagh because it is built on a height.

    There is a field in Ballyliffen called Clampar because it is a very wet field.

    Craig Vic Vidhe, a rock in the townland of Tornabratley and the reason it was called this name is because there was a man called Vic Vidhe, and he was got dead at this rock and it was called Craig Vic Vidhe after that.

    Pairc Micheal Ruadh a field in the townland of Tornabratley the reason it was called this name because there was a man called Michael Ruadh, and he was shot in this field, and it was called park Michael Ruadh after that.
