    have good fun sliding and making snowmen. I roll the snow in big rolls and set them on top of one another until it is high enough for a man. Then I make his head. I put eyes and nose on him and put a pipe in his mouth. Sometimes if I get an old hat lying about I put it on him. I put sticks for his arms and put lumps of snow for his hands.
    When there is frost on the ground I have good fun sliding on the road and ponds. On the winter nights I have good fun playing "Blind Man's Buff" along with my sister. I tie a handkerchief round my eyes and try to catch her. When I am at school in the winter I play tag. Some two are the taggers and run after the rest to try to tag them. Then whoever is tug has to be the tagger. Then we play hide and go seek. The two girls look for the rest of us when we are hidden
