- Long ago the people had certain days on which they did certain things such as Friday.
If a person was starting a new building or any other new work it was on a Friday they started it.
People never went into a new house on the month of May. Those customs are carried out until the present day.
The first eleven days of April are called the days of speckled cow. It is said that there was once a speckled cow who was almost dead from the cold winds of March. When April came she ran around the field with joy and March got vexed when she saw this. So she asked a few days of April and she gave her the first eleven days and that is why the first eleven days of April are cold.- Informant
