    "The Old Road"
The New Line was cut off the Main Road to the village of Derreen and out at the "Galway Road".
The Carnacarthan Road was made into the village of Carnacarthan of the Tuam Road. The New Line to Stove is a branch of the Dunmore Road. This road was never finished. There is a stone mound on the right side of the Chapel Road from the village. It is thought some soldier was buried there.
