    people killed a pig or two during the year and those that were well off killed a sheep at Christmas and Easter. The kind of milk used was new milk in the morning and chiefly butter milk at the other meals. The men usually worked in the morning before they had their breakfast.There are some people alive in this parish that remember when tea was first used in this country.
