  1. (continued from previous page)
The man that I mentioned is fond of the short
As he is well tempered he'll never be injured
He'll always have interest in where he resorts.
I hope he will end well in future amendment
The heavenly mansions his soul may obtain
He's lively and nimble and as straight as a spindle
And as I have ended his friend I'll remain
He's handy in business and fancied for goodness
He's manly, industrious and by no means false
In truth he's exceeding and also succeeding
Because he's obliging he has help when he calls
Micky is a jigger in dancing a figure
He often goes thither to dances and plays
He is too given to humor the women
He gives them a thickening by night and by day.
He's gone to the ocean and left us quite lonesome
Either tipsy or sober he was our delight He sings melodious and speaks very bright
Some people will mourn the he's left forlorn
On account of Tom Hogan he took such a fright.
