- The Long Black hand is so called because a woman used have her hand across the road and anybody that used to pass the road She would kill them. So one day Andrew Lynch go his horse and went off riding on the horse, untill He came to the Long Black hand the hand was there across the rood. He had a knife in hid hand, He drew down on the hand and broke it. She fired the churn dash at him and hit him in the leg. So when He went home the horse died and the place where He broke the hand the Blood is there still. There is an old Church there where She used to be living and the Blood on the wall.(continues on next page)
