- The names of the wild animals in my district are. The rabbits, hares, foxes, and weasles. The hares and rabbits make their nests in a ditch. When they are living in a small while there they bore a big hole from one side to the other through the ditch in order to escape when danger. The fox makes his nest through furs. The fox does a lot of harm when the little lambs are born.
The rabbit do no good but all the harm they do. They destroy the crops and make very big holes in the ditches.The weasles destroy the cabbage sometimes and where the weasle is you will see no rat. - There is not many tailors in my parish nowadays. I only know one tailor in my parish. His name is Patrick Connelly. He works in his own house and the clothes is brought to him. He does not keep cloth in his house for sale.(continues on next page)
