present there was an extra smart man who wanted confusion. He managed secretly to write an note to the chief in the asylum and seal it, telling him that a small stout man would call at ten and to hold him, he was dangerous.
The Secretary arrived before the doctor and asked permission to be allowed in. "O yes" said the chief, taking him and putting him in an iron jacket. Later the doctor arrived and asked if the Secretary came. "He did" said the chief and he is the worst lunatic we met yet. He is in the lower cell in a straight jacket.
