- There was a woman named Treacy in Lisaleen and she was able to make a plaster with herbs, this plaster cured burns. This woman used also give a white stocking to the people. There was a cure for the whooping cough in the stocking. Any one who put the stocking on would be cured, the woman never told what she had in the stocking though people often asked her.
If a dog licked a sore it would be cured the next day.- Collector
