- Once upon a time, a man went out to open drills. The weather was very wet and on Whit Monday he went out to work. As he was making the first drill the horses ran away. There was a lake near by and the horses dragged the man into the lake. Afterwards the body was found in the lake and the people say that it is not right to work on Whit Monday until after twelve o'clock.
