    Weather Lore
When the sun is red when it sets it is a sign of heat.
When the mountains seem near it is a sign of bad weather.
When there is a halo round the moon it is the sign of rain.
A rainbow in the morning is the sailors warning and a rainbow at night is the shepherd's delight.
South and West wind are for fine weather and very often denote rain.
East wind is for harsh wind.
    North wind is for snow.
