    Ringworm: The seventh son of a family has a cure for a ringworm
    Sprained ankles: People who have sprained ankles hold it before a running stream or under a pump.
    Cut: People who get cuts put a cobweb on it to stop bleeding.
    Mumps: When people get mumps they put gladarn around their necks.
    Warts: People who get warts steal a piece of meat and they hide it in the manure heap and lets nobody see it being hidden and then the warts go.
    Chin cough: When people get the chin cough they out before anybody they see passing with a white horse and asks them for a cure and whatever that person says it will cure the chin cough.
    Sore feet: If you get sore feet go to the holy well in Coolagh and leave the sore part on the stone where St. Brendan knelt praying
