  1. My home is in Curraghrue. It is in the parish of Closetoken, and it is also in Bullaun district.
    There are only ourselves in this townland. The family name most common in my district is Carty.
    The land is very boggy.
    The houses were more numerous in former times. There are two old ruins on our land. My district got its name from the "Red-bog". There is a small stream running down through our land.
    There is a big word near my home.
    It is called Larch Hill wood.
