- The birds commonly found in our district are the Curlew, Goldfinch, Owl, Green Linnet, Robin, Wren, Crane, Crow, jackdaw, Rook, Thrush, Sparrow, snipe, Widgeon, Tom Tit, Bullfinch, Grouse, Pheasant, Magpie, Lapwing, Yellow hammer, Starling, Gull, Golden Plover, Hawk, Wilduck, Patridge, Swan, Wagtail, Waterhen.
