    washed in a small wooden dish. Several years ago a vessel known as the "keeler" was in use in this neighbour-hood, for the purpose of washing butter. This was usually made by the local "cooper." This was also a small wooden vessel and was like a tub in shape. There are but few of those in existence in this district now.
