- There is a place about a quarter of a mile from Moylough where people are cured from boils and other skin diseases. It is a place behind Holy Trinity church where three streams meet one that flows up from the bog.
The person must stand in the river facing the direction in which the stream flows. While the person stood in the stream he or she had to wash the diseased part of the skin with the water from the river while they invoked the Holy Trinity to cure them.
The three rivers are supposed to represent the Holy Trinity.- Collector
