- In the townland of Keelogues, Ballintrillick, Co. Sligo there is an old ruin. There is very little known about this ruin but some people maintain that it was a monastery long ago. There is nothing mentioned about it in O'Rourke's History of Sligo or in Woodmartin's History. When Mr. Morris the school inspector was here he could not find out much about it either. It is a small building now. The landlord took away some of the stones. There is a low arched door-way on it. Inside its walls and the surrounding land is used for a graveyard now.
