    roots mixed with ivy and stewed for a few minutes. It is applied like an ointment.
    A cure for a toothache is white thorn bark stept in black tea and held in the mouth for a few minutes.
    Old cobwebs were applied when bleeding started and often cured the person.
    There are many cures for warts and the follwing are some of them-
    Get a black snail and rub it to the wart. Tie the snail to a string and hang it from a tree. As the snail decays the wart dissappears.
    When opening a chicken take the inside parts of its gizzard and rub it to the wart, then
