  2. Pat Campbell's Wit
    Pat Campbell was a poor man who used to drive a horse and side-car for hire in this district about twenty years ago. He lived in Gubbacreeney in the parish of Kinlough. One day as he attended a funeral in Kinlough old graveyard one innocent man asked him what was the meaning of R.I.P. at the base of head stone. Pat said Return if Possible.
