   Western wind brings most rain. When the cat washes her face it is a sure sign of rain. When she scratches the leg of a chair or table it is a sure sign of big wind. When the flying pismires are swarming in the road it is a sign of rain. A rainbow in the morning is the shepherd's warning a rainbow at night is the shepherd's delight. If both ends of rainbow are in the same townland someone will die soon in that land.
