    handed it to the gentleman who read it first to himself and then asked Jim if he could read any for himself and he said no. The man inquired if anyone read it for him, "no your honour" was Jim's reply. "Well here it is." The gentleman read it aloud for him, it was as follows:-
    First to bed and last leaving
    First to meals and last leaving,
    Feed him well and work his aisy,
    He is mighty strong but devilish lazy.
    After that he got married to a girl named Biddy Benson, and a happier pair never lived than Biddy Benson and Jim Linnon.
