- We have a churn. It is a round one. The top part of the churn is called the caisin and the bottom is called the laigean. The churn is about three feet high and two and a half feet wide.
This is how the people churn. First they milk the cows and then they strain the milk into pan crocks. They lave it there for four or five days until it gets thick. After that they put it into the churn(continues on next page)- Collector
