- A fairy fort is to be seen in the townland of Journey-Feale and it is called the Cranes Fort. Another fort in the townland of Donfield has a ditch round it in a ring. No one has ever interfered with them. A man who lives in the townland and of sonabeg had a tree which fell, and he was afraid to bring it home and burn it as it was in a fairy fort.
