- A fairy fort is to be seen in the townland of Journey-Feale and it is called the Cranes Fort. Another fort in the townland of Donfield has a ditch round it in a ring. No one has ever interfered with them. A man who lives in the townland and of sonabeg had a tree which fell, and he was afraid to bring it home and burn it as it was in a fairy fort.
- About two miles from our house there is a fairy fort in Peter Clarken's field. It is called Gortamore fort and is(continues on next page)
